First Day. HI!

all classes started last week, August 30 to be exact, but my classes weren't until the second day of classes. Because of the "out-of-state" taxes we had to pay ( prices were like off the roof high!) and because my transcripts weren't evaluated yet, i ended up with only 2 classes. Well 3, if you count biology as two because of the lab and lecture, while the other one was Anthropology. Although i could already get the pre-requisites, I didnt because most of them were the same as the classes i took in the philippines. so yeah, it would be a waste of money and time if i took them, than to know later that those similar subjects that i already took would be credited, right?


So anyway, enough of school. This is the first time that I kind of made a fashion blog. so, i hope its good. haha!! and hopefully this wouldn't be the last.

Saturday, August 29, 2010, The Eagle Taekwondo held its annual back-to-school picnic at Paradise park.

The fun filled event started with our favorite part... FOOD! haha! It was a potluck system, so we ended up with so many foods to choose from. Burgers, hot dogs, chips, chicken wings and so many more! food occupied like 2 picnic tables.

After lunch, special guests did a little number for the students, parents and other guests. The capoeira team started. they gave a little background of this martial art which is started by the warriors of Cambodia. There was this other performance from this beautiful girl that really entertained everyone. It was really fun to watch because she danced really gracefully.

The other performance was brought to us by the Eagle Taekwondo-Demo team. New stunts that amazed people were showcased. even i was left with the wow-look. haha! The demo team which was composed of Eagle Taekwondo students with blue belt and up, really made everyone proud. well, i have nothing more to say to describe this performance. nothing more except for AWESOME!! :D *high pitched voice.

So yeah, everything went well. specially the WATER BALLOON FIGHT! It was a WAR between the girls and the boys. (classic!) even parents joined in. so many got so WET! water bottles and water balloons were flying all over the park. and even Ice coolers joined in. ICE + COLD WATER = freezing wet person.:| haha! revenge was sought and plans were made. but in the end. truce and peace still reigned.:D

Overall, the picnic was a BLAST! not only of water but laughter smiles and a whole lotta fun.:)
